Why Start a Moms Group When There Are Already So Many?

Why Start a Moms Group When There Are Already So Many?

It’s a question I’ve asked myself more than once.

There are moms groups in every town, Facebook groups in every region, endless apps and meetups and mom-centered spaces… so why create another one?

Here’s the truth:

Most of my close friends live far away. Motherhood can feel incredibly isolating even when you’re surrounded by people. I’ve had playdates where I smiled and made small talk but left feeling more alone than before. I’ve joined groups where I didn’t feel like I belonged. I’ve scrolled and searched and still felt unseen.

So maybe that’s the point.

Ever Mamas isn’t just another moms group. It’s a movement born from my own longing for deeper connection. It’s rooted in the belief that motherhood isn’t meant to be done alone—and that support shouldn’t be a luxury, it should be a given.

Yes, I want to create a digital space where we can connect online, where we can laugh about toddler tantrums and share the messy middle of postpartum healing. But I also want to gather in real life. I want to sit next to you with a glass of wine in hand, swap stories on the lawn while our kids run barefoot, cry in the car together when it’s just too much, and celebrate every little win like it’s a big one—because sometimes it is.

I want this in my hometown.

I want it in Western Washington.

In Oregon. California. Texas. Everywhere.

Motherhood is wild. It’s beautiful. It’s exhausting and transformative and deeply personal—and yet, it’s something we share. That’s the vision for Ever Mamas: to create soul-filling spaces for real connection. No pressure. No perfection. Just a soft place to land.

If you’ve ever felt lonely in a crowded room, if you’ve struggled with postpartum anxiety like I have, if you’ve been craving something deeper—this is for you.

We believe in the power of community, of showing up exactly as you are.

Come as you are.

Stay as long as you need.

You belong here.

This is your invitation to be part of something real.

Let’s build it together.
