Building Ever & Alder: A Brand with Heart and Community
When I started Ever & Alder, I knew I didn’t just want to sell T-shirts. I wanted to create something meaningful—a brand that feels like home, a space that encourages vulnerability, and a community that values intentional living.
This journey isn’t just about making products; it’s about telling a story, creating connection, and putting something into the world that truly matters.
Making Products That Feel Like Something
I want every piece in Ever & Alder to be more than just fabric and ink. I want it to feel like a reminder—of what matters, of where you’ve been, of where you’re going. A favorite T-shirt can be like a favorite song: something you reach for over and over because it just feels right.
I don’t want to make things just for the sake of making them. I want to create things that feel thoughtful, intentional, and like they belong in people’s lives.
Creating Through Vulnerability
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned in life is that vulnerability is what connects us. The more we share honestly—our joys, our struggles, our stories—the more we find that we’re never really alone.
Ever & Alder is deeply personal to me. It’s shaped by my own experiences—learning to navigate grief, choosing to live with intention, and embracing the idea that today is the true gift. I want this brand to reflect that journey, to be a space where people feel seen and understood.
A Community, Not Just a Business
I’m not just here to sell T-shirts—I want to build a community. A place where people feel connected, not just to the brand, but to each other. That’s why it’s important to me to engage openly, to share the real behind-the-scenes, and to create designs that resonate on a deeper level.
I want Ever & Alder to be a reminder that we’re all in this together, that we’re all figuring it out, and that beauty can be found in the process.
Living (and Creating) with Intention
At the core of it all is this: I want to build Ever & Alder with intention. I don’t want to chase trends or create just to sell. I want to make things that matter. I want to slow down, be present, and trust that when you put something real into the world, the right people will find it.
That’s what I’m trying to build—a brand with heart, a space that feels like home, and a reminder that even in the messiness of life, there’s beauty worth holding onto.
Thank you for being here,
MK
